BigReefer, Don't see why they wouldn't get along. I had them together before. They don't compete for food.

Not sure I am comfortable with a sand sifting star. heard they decimate all beneficial living organisms and die when there is nothing left.

It's easier to ask forgivness than permission.

HA! I wish! It's great having a wife who takes an interest in the tank. She notices EVERYTHING, which is great, because she tells me when something is not the same and I should check it, but I couldn't add one polyp without her knowing. LOL! Add to that her European fire and I'd rather avoid the shovel. hehe. The good side of it is that if she likes a coral or fish, she doesn't care how much it costs. So, I almost always bring her along to shop for corals! I once told her about the Black Ice clowns at ORG. She no way are we replacing 'the kids' and spending that much money on clowns. She was in the store a couple of weeks later and got all excited when she saw them. None of those concerns mattered anymore :) So funny. I have to give her some of the credit for my tank being as nice as it is (and as expensive as it is). She has a great eye and always finds the best corals and fish.

I think you should sell that red goni to me then you'd have room for something new and can go out shopping ;)

Haha, Kevin. You sound like me. There is no stopping me when I want something!

Big Reefer. The Black Ice Clowns were $250 for the pair. They are a work of art
