Rob from Canada Corals just sent an email that is for the month of May.

'I’d like to offer a 10% discount on regular priced livestock (coral, inverts and fish) for the month of May to all MAST members. To take advantage of the discount, your members would simply present their membership card upon making a purchase in the store. Easy Peasy!

Please note that the discount doesn’t include dry goods and is limited to the month of May 2017!

Hopefully MAST members find this of value – definitely appreciate their business and being part of the community.'

MAST is the Marine Aquarium Society of Toronto, also listed as MAST Canada.

http://mastcanada.org

https://www.facebook.com/mast.canada.3

'The mission of MAST is to be the general advancement of the marine aquarium hobby and, in particular, the advancement of the hobby amongst the MAST membership.'

Benefits of Joining MAST
  • Attendance at 10 monthly membership meetings (September to June). Excellent speakers, slide shows, auctions, and discussions.
  • Access to information, guidance from experts, and the opportunity to make new friends with the same interests as you. Feel free to bring slides of your tank for a ‘show and tell’.
  • ‘Tour of Tanks’ – a day spent visiting the homes of several members to view their tanks.
  • Free use of our library of books and periodicals.
  • The popular annual propagation workshop.
  • Annual auction – great selection of livestock and hardware, plus monthly mini-auction !!.
  • Low annual membership fee $25 single and $35 family

They have monthly meetings and workshops as well as events and gatherings regarding the hobby and its sustainability. Workshops have included things such as fragging corals and DIY acrylic work. There are also speakers and several other great events.Members also get deals across their many vendor sponsors. It is a great group to be part of and I am proud to be a member on that team as well. Starting after London Fragfest, I will be working with MAST to draw some attention and grow membership to Southwestern Ontario.
