I had initially gone with a 4 stage one which kinda worked well but later had a 5 stage one wth 2 TDS meters bought from a friend who was exiting the hobby. Never looked back since. A bit of extra money will go long way with ur RO water making..gud luck

@Pipes would be the best person to contact about this. IMHO go at least 5 stage and if you can afford it go to a 6 stage. on my tank I go thru 25 gal/week in evaporation in the winter + weekly 10% water changes, I was able to pick up a used 6 stage and replaced all the filters and resign for under $200 total. the only thing that I wish the unit had was a booster pump.

My tank finally arrived!
There were 4 of us to move tank into the basement. What mistake I did ... it appears tank weight was 250kg instead of 150 as I thought.
Just want to share some things we had to do as maybe people are looking for solutions.
The easiest way to move the tank was to use this thing from homedepot,
https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.hardwood-dowel-1-in-x-48-in-natural.1000115276.html

simply put the on floor, place tank on it and easily slide, tank moves like on wheels. We did move tank in horizontal and in vertical position with the same success.

The hard part was to move tank to the stand as it was too heavy and there were only 3 people left I think pictures will give you a better idea.

Very nicely done and from what I can see it looks right. I am with @[KRAFTIG] with suggesting the gate valve upgrade on the full siphon drain. You can to it with a ball valve, but the gate really makes it easier to fine tune. There are a lot of valves on the return system, be ready to spend a lot of time tuning them to get them working just right. It will also take a lot of finessing once you add reactors to that manifold. Just be patient with it. I am sure you will get it running perfectly.

Wow nice setup. IMHO the main siphon is great where it is. I'd drop the open channel lower, you want it about 1/2" higher then the main siphon. and you want the top of the open channel below the emergency over flow. I'd also lower the emergency over flow as well so that it is at least 1" below the top edge of your tank and 1/2" max above your open channel. You may find the ball valve on the main siphon might be difficult to fine tune. Id suggest one of these valves instead, I'm pushing 1300gph and have been able to adjust it so their is just a faint trickle going thru the open channel.
