Clam Rescue / Vermetid Snails

Long story short I just got a clam, it has several of the snails that cast the mucus nets out on it. As well as a very large growth that just appears to be a larger species than the others. I already have these things in my tank. I have been dealing with them just by breaking the ones that I can see/reach and reduced feeding. The clam has several, Including the very large one in the image(if that is what it is) some of these are in contact with the mantle when it is out.

Should I break these ones or just use the super glue method?

Anybody have any tips for dealing with these guys? I don't have a plague in my tank just more than I would like. I am currently restricting food and I am going to modify my plumbing to make sure %100 of the flow through my sump gets filtered because right now it doesn't.

Clam looks stressed as it is(not that I really know). I think I will super glue them for now to avoid injuring the clam.

Any tips for reducing the overall population in my tank?
