How Does Everyone Clean Filter Socks??

Just curious to see how everyone using filter socks cleans them? And do you have a specific brand that you find works and lasts longer then others?

washing machine hot water, every once in a while a capfull of bleach...

I just. Wash them with water hose then flip it inside out then again I do that weekly. Use the, for about 3 months then it's them

Flip them inside out, rinse roughly, soak in cold water with half cup of bleach for about 24 hrs. Then rinse in hot water. Soak in hot water with some water conditioner added. Then hang them to dry.

Inside out in washing machine. Been doing that for years. The hideous GSP loves the phosphates.

Thorough clean inside and out. Let soak in a pail of water with bleach for a couple of days followed by another rinse and left out to dry.

I flip inside out throw in washer with a cap full of vinegar and a capful of bleach. I wash on hot. Then flip rightside out and wash on speed wash with nothing added. Then hang to dry. Have had no issues thus far. I do a spped wash in washer after with a bit of soap to clean it out and keep wife happy!!in the warmer months i powerwash them and they come out almost new. And i change them out every 3-4 days.

Would this method work with front load washers? Would you put the bleach and vinegar in the drum itself? Or in the dispenser?

I am simple, take out hand wash inside out than put back on to use. I own only one pair, used until it ware, tare, rip than buy new one

What do u use to wash it with? Just water or bleach as well?

I just used water, twist the socks to get rid of ascess water than put back on to use. This is what I do and it work for me. I do this both on my 200g and 75g frag tank
