After having rectangular tanks for a number of years, i always seemed to have one problem…between room for rock-work and leaving swimming room for fish it seems that the corals are always too close to the glass(getting broken when cleaning…) so i got a 36”x36”, now rocks can be like an island and corals have lots of room to grow outwards .

I dig it, but how do you reach in there to get at anything once it's all set up? My little t-rex arms barely reach into my tank and it was 18" deep..

So in October of last year the bottom of my 36x36 cracked…sucked since at the time everything was doing well in the tank(frags were growing etc).all sort of speculation as to y that happen anywho i decided to get a Redsea reefer 300xl (for now). Changed a few things that i didnt like about that tank…. Didnt care for the plumbing and the sump sucked… also wanted to add a uv in the return line and a clarisea filter roll on the drain…
