Yep that's all I did was weld up a light stand for the frag tank, you could make it so it was just over the tank instead of really high up
Cool, I will do that with my frag tank. Thanks your set up looks great and I hope to duplicate one day but i do not know hoe to weld.

I am going to start my culture again of nanno phytoplankton, does this sound right:

1.020
70-75 F
16 hour a day light @ 6500K
2 ml fertilizer per liter
split after 7 days
3 bubbles a second

Decided to buy this:

Evergrow AquaOcean IT5012 Controllable Full Spectrum LED - 48", 240W

It will be for Yuma/rics and zoas/palys and just a few nice lps. I am hoping not to have to add calcium etc to my tank and just use a good salt like instant ocean reef crystals

I hope it does good for my corals and fish

So far I bought a chocholate tang and a yellow tang. Need to get rid of my demsels which are free to anyone that wants them in windsor or want to drive to my place, they are a yellow tail and a black/white stripe.

Also added a large vertex reactor just for small nitrate cylinders to increase surface area and slow flow to hope that harpacticoid grow inside and spread so when I add my 2 x mandarins they will be well fed.
