Actinic Supplementation

Hello All,

I have a homemade light with 6 par 38 full spectrum bulbs, I am now looking for stand alone RB LED supplementation and am not sure how to do it, looking for suggestions.  The tank is 72x19x24

Excuse the tank literally in the middle of a water change

I run 28 RB's on a 5' heatsink with 2 non dimmable drivers.  I don't think rapidled has the 5' ones any more though, but I'm sure there's something out there that would substitute?

I've been considering 2 36 inch stunner strips anyone have experience?

If you can handle a DIY i would get some 1" aluminum U channel and make some 3w strips all the was across on either side. I always get mine from http://www.metalsupermarkets.com/MSC-storefinder.aspx?map=ONTARIO&REGION=ON .  There is one in london and one in kitchener.  Then i get my leds from aquastyle or rapidled.

Especially the solderless kits from RapidLED. Pretty straight forward. IF you have any issues, I am sure there is someone local who can help out.

I decided to go with the finnex lights that Roch from Canada pleco is selling.  They were affordable and seem to work.  I shot a quick video last night.  Still battling some brown algae on the substrate and brown coraline on the rocks though I'm not to worried the system. Is still new.
