Anybody can help with this ID?

Recently purchased a setup that was already established. The attached photo coral hitchhiked along and I don't recognize it and am unable to nail it down on line. It is pretty small; specimen is only about an inch in height so not a lot
to go on yet. Thanks for any assistance.

It appears to be some type of leather, possibly a Kenya tree or leather finger ?
