i have a 6 ft 150. Probably the worst dimension ever for aquascaping. I've got about 150 lbs of LR in there now and it's pretty stuffed. I'm thinking of a 2 island look. What do you guys do for an 18" wide tank

is it a fowlr or do you have corals.. I hear what your saying about aquascaping, its not as easy as it looks. I have done mine several times and some of the pointers that I have learnt along the way are; remember cleaning, I now keep all the rock away from the back wall. what type of fish, all of mine like caves and spots to perch. dead spots, what is your flow. This truly is a learning curve hobby.

Oops. I have sps and lps and a clam. I have an emp angel blue throat trigger NASO foxface hippo tang sail fin tang banner fish anthias and 2 nemos.

I use a gyre at 50% so the flow is insane. My current scape is my avatar.

I like the island look and shelves, that's what I plan on doing with my 150 and lots of caves for resting in ! I think it's a cleaner look, minimal. Love the shelf rock Uni bob/Jerry has. I'll be down for a visit soon to check them out

Nice. I hate this tank dimension. It's 27 or 29 tall Grrrr. My rocks only go 15-18" off the sand. It will leave room for the sps to grow. Caves and lots more area for the coral. I'll try to grab a pic
