While trolling the Neptune Apex forum, a guy there has a PWM led light from Steve' LED. This would work with the cheap LED as well, or at least I assume so. As simple as cutting off the dimmers from chinese leds and adding this chip. (well for people who know what they are doing it is simple as that lol). A cheap way to make these lights compatible with Apex.

that's just converter.
It convert Analog signal from apex to standard digital PWM signal.
Then PWM drivers are needed.

Yes, exactly. It does not replace the use of a driver

This upgrade can make 2 channel dimmable Chinese LEDs controllable with a controller. You can open the chinese LED and cut the dimmers out and use this instead to link the 2 channels on each (total 4 channels) to this 4 channel and have individual control all 4, mind you it is more complicated then that. But, this would be a cheaper option to replacing the drivers with 0-10v drivers that normally run about 30$ or more each. Basically, if you have an old DIY, like what I did on my Nano, and later decide to go with an Apex or similar controller, this is a cheaper way to do an upgrade over new drivers.
