Basic freshwater care

A friend of mine just got a nano freshwater tank for their kids bday..

What is the basic care regime? They live in london, I assume they have to use conditioner on the water before adding to the tank? Water change weekly?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes water conditioner with every water change. I would do 30-50% depending how stocked they are. Have them come see me for their fish and advice.

when you look at it this way you are actually saving money. Prime is the best one you can get because it is highly concentrated.
