Any thoughts about the bubble magus curve5 for 90gal..

Thinking of upgrading my euroreef 5-2 (which is rated 75gal)
Euroreef is pretty much brand new,  since it went out of service years ago whilst only using it 2 months...

Anyway I had someone recommend the bubble magus to me..
Just wanted some more opinions..

They are good solid skimmers for the price for sure.

I have a BM-180-CS, decent build quality but found it didn't pull much gunk, I am disappointed but keep it as a back up.

I'd go with the vertex omega 150.... Even the 130 would work at a lower price point

They are definitely nice skimmers, but double the price.

Bubble magus isn't even in the same league as vertex skimmers

Well I've played with the euroreef...  Dialed it in,  looking 1/2 of the cup full of junk everyday..  So I'll wait for an upgrade..

I wasn't comparing the 2, he was asking about the bubble magus.

If your Euroreef is working, I'd continue with it. I've found them to be good skimmers. I feel that the BM isn't great just a cheap affordable option. Vertex is good even the older models.
