were all pretty bias'd here. +1 for the APEX, in the last few months they have really stepped it up with the new updates and phone apps.. what more could you ask for?

All kidding aside, the fact that Neptune provides unlimited customer support, firmware updates, and new applications free of charge makes the APEX or APEX Jr a no brainer for anyone condering a controller. Not to mention IP camera integration and more

I have the ReefKeeper (Digital Aquatics)... I wont recommend it to anyone.

nothing happened to mine (its still chugging along)
there was just no development or real support available for the unit. I had to find things out on my own and my emails always went unanswered. The whole salinity probe fiasco was the cherry on the top.
