Those shrimp do better when they are in groups
Just sayin' ...:D

I like that idea! I especially love my inverts!
How many would you suggest? Would 2 be happy?
And would they get along with my 2 blood shrimp? And my growing engineer goby?
Thanks for the post, Sam!

I have two cleaner shrimp one blood shrimp and 3-4 Peppermint shrimp all in a 60 gallon cube. I have a lot of rocks in that small space and I don't have any issues and not a single Aiptasia since I got them. have had all peppermints for a year.

Well I guess that individual results may vary but I've always kept multiples of inverts. I believe that there is research to suggest that shrimps are less reclusive with friends around. In the wild, they would congregate
As nonuser has suggested, there should be no conflicts.
Only exception is the coral banded shrimp - best kept alone (or mated pair) with no other shrimps or small fish

I had two peppermint shrimp that I used to see in a regular basis out and about. They even would climb on and pick at my hand when I glued frags, etc. My larger one passed away and now I never see the remaining one. It always hides in the rockwork except when lights are out.
