Just got a crazy idea and this thread seemed appropriate for my question.

Anyone see any issues with grinding up bio pellets and adding them to DIY rock mixture?
and also what about 100% silicone as a bonding agent?

bio pellets would be just a little something extra to get some good bacteria growing but mostly Just to be different.
Silicone would cure faster I would think wouldn't it? And there be less contaminants then some of the other mixtures out there? Just Silicone, aragonite, bio pellets, salt.
Could maybe make the rocks lighter using silicone? Would have to test that theory.

Just found a tube of silicone and some substrate I had laying around, Going to try and make a squishy rock...
