very informative bill,in the past i used sugar,just sugar as a carbon source,worked good for the times but a few years ago i did change to vodka and was impressed with the results and ease of use,i finally went to pellets for the reasons mentioned in the video,only top up when needed (6-9 months) and it helped with controlling phosphates

Dr.Tims is marketing what he calls the only PHA bio-pellet that is designed for aquarium use.

What I found interesting in the video is that it said typically P04 can become limited causing left over NO3 but in my experience when I have stoped gfo my phosphates went up......making me believe my tank is NO3 limited.
