I am in the works of planning both of these out. Have been reading many threads here and there, but just figured I would this this "build thread" to bounce some feedback off some of you that currently run setups like this.

I am thinking two 20 or 23 gallon long tanks. One for frag tank, one for sump.

Planning on trying a DIY PVC overflow that was showed to me from a fellow forum member.

Looking for any ideas/strategies to make this thing efficient, and most importantly as quiet as possible. Or even questions about setup, and im totally new to this aspect so probably haven't heard of half the ways to do it.

jerry try to go a bit bigger with the frag tank it will fill up fast trust me , try to find somehting shallow also sumps are pretty basic if you want them to be , one side drain , one side return and have skimmer and whatevr other equipment in the middle . doesnt need to be fancy for a frag tank sump
