Goes right into the Skeleton

More of my corals that are Similar are not looking good at all. Very receded.

Did a 10% water change today.

What are your parameters at? I have seen to high\ to low nutrients, to high or low salinity, high DKH to cause issues like this.

Looking at your parameters they look good. What is your flow like on the coral? Sediment that sits on the tissue can cause burns. Is anything in it? Like a crab or tube worm? Do you have any LPS near it? I have a frog spawn that my female clown chomps into and spits out pieces of tissue. Corals that come into contact get burns and holes in them. If the hole is big and into the calcium skeleton you could take some glue or epoxy and fill it in. The tissue should regrow on it. I would also up feeding. By the looks of it i see damage on the inside as well. Could be caused by not enough food and the tissue pulled back. The hole could have been over grown by the coral. So you only see it once the tissue receded.
