Hitchhiker coral?

I haven't added anything to the tank in a year but this new coral (macro algae?) started growing out of my live rock over the last month. Not sure what it is but it doesn't appear to have any polyp/mouth, it is a soft coral and blows in the current. About the size of a toonie. Thanks for the help

Look back in this section to Dec 2019 under ” Kelp like” and identification given to me when it used to grow in my old tank , was very nice until I got a yellow tang who mowed it down

Kelp Like?

can anyone identify this red kelp like plant/algae? It’s thick and slimy , grows fairly slow and doesn’t seem to to do any harm so I just let it grow giving it a little hair cut once in awhile. I really kinda like it and gives some nice colour to the tank. It just stated growing off this rock...
