Anyone using a hydroponic flood table for their frag tank. Now that my tank is on the mend, wifey approved my next large purchase which is a dedicated frag tank setup. I'm sure I could use an old tank, but I want something a little more purpose built. I have seen people using hydro flood tables and stands so looking for feedback from anyone that uses it. I won't be plumbing it into my tank either which will allow me to keep anything I buy and frag separate from my tank....and vice versa I won't add anything nasty going on in my tank to my frag setup.

If you have a flood table, how deep is it? Most I see are only 7" I think that's a little shallow

I think BRS tried selling frag tables like this. They are a great little idea for sure. 7" is great for frags. Most our frag show tanks are only 6

I was thinking 7 " tank which really means 6" of water in it....a little off the bottom for egg crate. Wasn't sure if 7 would do it. I can't seem to find anything deeper anyway so might just have to go with it

I can see the replies going in so many wrong directions already :p

Ya, most out tanks are 6" high, less water. Can't really use it for a large sps colony, but those would be done big ass frags if they where sticking out of the water lol.

Plus, aren't those tables on wheels n such?
