Thinking of getting back into the hobby now that I have more time. Have an empty 25 gallon cube in the garage that I am hoping to set up in the next little while. Seems like a great sight with lots of knowledgeable people.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Much appreciated. Hopefully once the kids are off to camp I'll get things moving.

Yup, I got that feeling from your pic! :) Beautiful dog...is it a lab?
Mine is almost 2 now, so much bigger now than in that pic.

Welcome to the site. Cubes can make for an amazing tank. Good luck with the build. Be patient and understand that we are all here to help, although some may have differing opinions as all of our tanks are different. Also, please keep in mind to never splurge buy equipment. Always take a step back and pull out your phone to look it up, call a friend or something. Store advertising is very misleading in this hobby.

welcome to tft.... lots of pics for ideas both small and large tanks :) just spend those pennies where they count and you will be happy. like torx said "research research research" and when you think you got it research again just to be sure :D but most of all trust your gut feeling if you are weary for any reason just wait or skip it lol

Some excellent advice

Like torx said. Always take a moment and research before buying. Even if it's a simple post here asking everyone's experience and advice.
