The good Hayward bullheads are available at many pool stores. In London Highbury pools carries them for sure and maybe others as well.

Also I found Home Harware a good resource to look up PVC plumbing parts (on line) and then order them at the local store. They will bring them in max one week and call you for pickup.

I always forget about HH and head to the big box stores...  Its a shame cause for their size,  they carry lots of odds and ends!  Unfortunately always a little pricier!
