Sad, but probably necessary.  I know a lot of people get mad about the der cull too, but when I wake up and there's a deer in my cornflakes, well enough is enough.  Imagine if deer were poisonous!

my thoughts exactly, poor lionfish, but we don't have to live there with the overpopulation. The article stated how many there were in a small area and it was wild. Threatening and depleting other fish and I would imagine just plain dangerous. I like deer pepperoni sticks, my brother gets a bunch done every year mhmmm good ! poor Bambi LOL

The Bahamas is also trying to eradicate them too, they are very invasive in the Bahamas. They actually taste quite good if prepared properly. They also feed them on dives to sharks, groupers, and eels.
