Hey all, thought it was about time I introduced myself. I registered here over a year ago and have not posted as I took a break from the hobby.
I have been running a salt water tank of some kind for close to 20 years, with some breaks in between. I have not had a tank in a few years and still catching up on the new tech and toys.
To get back into it I started small with a biocube 14. I have modded the hell out for fun.
Replaced the stock light with diy 16 3w LEDs.
Added a DIY media basket running carbon, GFO, cheato
Added a nano skimmer to the first chamber
upgraded the stock pump to maxijet 900
Hydor Flo rotating deflector
MP10 ES circulation pump
Reefkeeper lite.
Tunze Osmolator ATO
Its been running for about month and a half now. Approx 15-20 lbs of liverock and 10 lbs of sand
2 ocellaris clowns (one black),
cleaner shrimp
Right now I only have a few corals (zoas, zenia, hammer, GSP, mushrooms, candy cane). I am not sure what direction to go coral wise, so what is in there is just temp.
In the next week or two I will be starting to put my 60g cube back together (cant wait).
