well I thought why not ,
I started this tank up June/July of 2015 . So it's a marineland 40 gal tall . I'll slowly post some pics from day one till now and some stuff I got in the way !

I lost my 20 gallon tank due to lack of experience and maintenance a smaller tank needs . I lost a bad battle to syano and got so fed up i pulled the plug on it and went out bought a new tank and stand to get a fresh start . That 20 gallon only lasted about 8 months .

I do 5 gallon water changes every weekend and water top off every other day .

So for equipment here's what I got as of today over the past 10 months I've switched stuff up so in the older pics you'll see what I used before getting the better stuff .
- Jebao Rw-8 power head
- 100w heater
- Ground probe
- Eshop psk 100 gallon skimmer(hob)
- Small breeder box with cheato
- Filstar (small) cansiter filter
- 2 kessil A160WE tuna blue on goose necks
- and a glass lid to top it all off lol .

Inside the filter I only use the black sponge that came with it and a white Cotten sheet and nitra guard
And Rowa phos and I clean and change it out every 2months or so . I've never had an issue with anything in the tank to this point so I hope I can keep it that way!! .

Fish stock ..
1 standard Orange and white clown
1 orange black and white clown
1 purple dart fish
1 purple tail wrasse
1 chocolate tang (juvi)
1 Mandrian dragonet
1 red star fish
1 conch
And a bunch of different snails

Corals ...
Zoas /pallys
Leathers
Some sps
Flame bta
Favias
Acans
Challices
Flower pots
Hammer
Mushrooms
Duncan
Gsp

All I can thing of right now for corals .

Day one of getting the tank home and set up with a brand new bag of live sand !

And then the very first night of new the set up , it took about 3 hours to take down my 20 gallon clean all the rocks and take 75% of my old tank water into the new tank and then I only needed to mix up about 35 more gallons of new salt water then waited for that to mix for another hour and I had no choice but to put my live stock in, hoping that I would lose anything
:(
what you see in this picture was all my stuff from the 20 gallon
For lights on the left is the fluval sea led lights and i had this set up for about 6 months

Get the variable power source and select 12v. It will work only it will be 1/2 the power. ( normally runs at 24v)

It was nice to meet @averhoog Sunday evening , he took home the leather cabbage that made my tank look a lot smaller lol, now that he's gone it really cleared up the space and I think my snails and conch will appreciate it now that they can get by lol .

Thanks Samb, and it's a chocolate tang just a wee juvi . I

And honestly yeah I don't think I'd get any other light , unless it was the kessil 360s lol.
