Yes first pic
Great perching area on top for gobies (example) and nice underneath hiding area for cleaner shrimp (example)
Plus allows for easier water flow
Nuff said !

What's the project ?

On a whim I visited my LFS and to my surprise found a sweet piece of Tonga LR that I thought would be perfect for my build. Here it is curing in my tank.

Im debating, I like the minimalist look and think it would look better with a BB, but I also like the fauna and filtration that a sandbed brings considering I want a Mandarin again.
