Hey, so i have had this Naso tang for 2+ years. Its chunky and eats like a pig ! all was well till i switched tanks.. Now for the past few weeks out of no where he will flap on his side at the top. When i add food he will stop and go eat, I thought he needed a different diet so i added vitamin supplements and other food sources.
Any thoughts on this ?
It seems healthy otherwise, no spots or anything like that.

any advice would be great.
Thanks

If there's no sign of physical problems. It's probably just a behavior thing.

I had a hippo that used to do that and soak my floor.

Fish have personality too :D

Definitely could be sulking, triggers are really moody too... But when you did the tank change you may have disrupted one or more of his naturally growing food sources in the tank that hasn't recovered or reestablished yet...a favourite algae...try a little extra nori perhaps...

My Sohal would back up to the surface and splash me if I stood by the tank and didn't feed him...

he's still acting funny, but not as often ! i think he wanted a nice cove "spot to hide" like his old tank so i made one and he seems to be better. The tank i have set up is very "open" so i think he just wanted a spot to hide and such like the old tank. Fish can be funny !
