Cross post from my build log - Hopefully someone can help me find this part.

I just picked up a new dc pump to bring top off water from my basement up to my sump

ZKSJ DC 12V 1.1A 13.2W Brushless Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Submersible Oil Water Pump ... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00C6XNB50/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awd_KDPOwb1MGK507

This has a male 1/4 inch thread on it. My plan was to use the 1/4 to 1/4 push connect and run rodi tubing.

The only place I can find this part is bulk reef supply. But it comes to nearly $40 with shipping and exchange rate. There is no way I'm paying that.

Is anyone aware of somewhere else I can get this part in Canada or even better local close to London ?

Edit ** is there a such thing as a
Check valve safe for reef that will quick connect to a 1/4 rodi line?

by check valve do you mean like a one way valve ?
That pump is tiny, can it handle moving water with that much head?

If you are close to London try Plastco, they are out by Trails End and they have everything and their prices are wholesale..

Yeah a 1 way valve to prevent siphon from sump into basement ( line will be pinned above sump but it's always nice to have a fail safe)

The pump states it should handle what I need . If not I'll put it in a rain barrel to water the garden so all is not lost.

As for your check valve, the answer is yes. Literally on the BRS site right beside the part you linked I believe you will find it. Locally is another story of course.

Here it is in Canada

cheaper version, although looking at it NO WAY would I consider using it.

However, I may not be understanding you right, but if this is for top off water, you don't need a check valve. Just make sure the line is above the water column and there is nothing to siphon back.

Here is MPT to push fitting. Male though. You'd need to find a dual female coupler

Alternatively, I'd look at water supply stores, ones that sell softeners, or RODI etc. They would have all sorts of fittings I'm sure.

I live only 10 minutes from trails end and go almost every weekend for food. I tried a Google search on plastco London and street view just shows a field haha. Is this a retail store I can just walk into?

Just connected everything together and flow is fantastic very close to the speed of my old tunze ATO!

Great little pump to move ATO water up 5 meters or so! This pump is DC didn't come with a power supply but I found an old external hard drive that had an adapter that matched beautiful.
