omg very nice pieces.. what is the cork screw thing...

It's a whip coral. These are nps (but do better in light than without due to their polyps sharing similar photoreceptive cells that are typically found in anemones) they are a type of black coral (chitinous skeleton) that grow curlier in deeper waters with stronger currants. They grow straight in low flow area but don't really do all that well combatively speaking. We feed them once every other day and use something like polyp boost/reef nectar/oyster feast to help begin the digestive process before we target feed them (reef roids/reef frenzy/ mysis).

What is the 4th pic I hate pure green, but it's gorgeous :)


That's a hydnophora, that one in particular is the knobby branching kind.
