Hi all ,
after a few years away from the hobby I'm going to claw my way back in.
I've had 40 gallon salt fish only and 55 gallon reef and the last was 90 gallon reef back in 2009 to 2012. I started in the saltwater hobby way back in 1991 and then got out of the reluctantly in 2012 but now I'm coming back!
I just purchased a 40 gallon cube that I'm going to set up slowly with my son.

So I'll be asking some questions and hopefully answer some as well

We've probably got rules posted somewhere, not sure where but I would think we have some. Basically, just don't be a dick lol.


Not a ton has really changed since 2012, well except the access to fish and coral has taken a real hit, so it's good we can share aquacultured corals in this community. Lots of guys here with NICE coral, for usually not-break-the-bank prices. Fish however... damsels are now worth over $200 each.

OMG $200 for a damsel wow I think last time I seen they were like $10 holy smokes!

LOL! I like to think of @Salty Cracker that like that kid back in school who was a class clown and always caused ruckus.. .

They are not $200 each lol but prices at the fish stores has easily doubled in the past 3-4 years IMO .
