Bonjour...
Pinging in here new to this forum but not new to the hobby. Having experienced keeping Fresh water /planted aquariums including Discus tanks over 20 years (Breeding etc).. Have been hooked to Reefing over 4 years now.
Just in the process of starting my new 70 gallons reef after downsizing from the earlier 90gallon Starphire cube..Hope to stay in touch on this forum on the build updates and learning...

My previous 90gallon setup. Display tank at main level and sump/filtration in basement..

This is still the old setup for the 90 gallon. Had to convert from scratch the small store room into my fish room under the steps going to basement. Sump and filtration setup in basement.
Dry wall, taping, sanding, paint, cabling, running plumbing lines from main level to basement. concrete floor paint, baseboards etc..

Apex board, final plumbing and sump setup completion..

The above setup was completed in Nov 2015 since then it had to be brought down in summer of 2016 as we had to move houses all the hardwork was ripped apart but it was good and enjoyed it till it lasted..

Next update will be of the new build at new place.. This hobby keeps you on your toes lol
