Water changes or run phosphate reducing media through a filter

Macro algae such as cheato and other fauna uptake phosphates if you have a big enough sump.
gfo in a reactor works very well but is a continuous expense

i do a weekly 10% water change however my tank is only about a month old could that be why i have a little bit of phosphates
