My 6 day old leather coral appears to be dying. Each day it has gotten worse and now is shedding all over the tank. I am worried of poisioning my biocube 29.
Thanks for any advise. Should I romove the dead parts or the entire coral? see pics

I had a leather do this about 4 months ago.  Nice healthy specemin from IA.

Started dying on me, while everything else was fine in the tank.  About 2 weeks later a rapa snail chewed its way out of the coral.  I was looking in the tank and the coral had a big hole in in and a large white snail was on the glass that I had never seen before.

Not saying that's what's happening here, leathers are funny in that they are pretty hardy, but then can just up and die on you.  Keep an eye out for these snails though, and get rid of them if you see them.
