Guess who's back.... :D

Its been almost a year and a half , fish-less.
In that time I:
bought and moved into my own place (renovated the whole thing too)
got married, got a new job, etc etc.
Now things are settling down and becoming routine and I have an itch to scratch

Very excited. Picked up a whole system just last night.
Here are some details on the future plans

120g acrylic- center overflow, 2 drains, 1 durso, 1 emergency.
Basement sump
Planning on Chinese LEDs x2
(have a tek 6 bulb though)

Blueline 55 return pump.

Acrylic 50g sump
ATO
DA Basic controller
SWC 200 skimmer
Jebeo WP40 x2
60gallon refugium.

Plan is to start with a few fish, and add a soft coral here and there. And build up to a mixed reef-predominately LPS, The wife and I really like flow and movement of lps and certain softies.
My personal fav- zoas will also be high on the list.

But All with time of course. I am in no rush. Plans are to set it up and get it running sometime in August, and start with livestock late October/November.

Pic of the tank- I need of a serious clean and buffing.
It is drilled for a closed loop, but am unsure at this point if i will be pursuing that route

tank is 48x24x24
no canopy just hanging lights
the stand that came with is nice, but wife wants something custom. probably going to go with the modern look.
Still a few factors to figure out yet but at least i have most of the parts to get started.

So you bought THAT tank. I saw that in classifieds! what a deal. wish I had a big enough space for it but good for you! :)

Congrats on the house, wife, and new tank. I'm glad she's supportive.

Think I have enough rock, just gotta let it bleach in the sun, then scrub it and rinse it good in some ro water and let it cycle on its own :)

Salty is taking a crack at my hockey team the Toronto
Maple Leafs haha

I had it full of water for a week, then emptied it quickly with a pump and no stressing or other side affects.

Does have a bit of bowing on the front panel but this is said to be the norm for acrylic tanks.
