Powder Brown Tang

i had a powder brown tank came home and he was dead after about 3 weeks water tested all good don’t know how or why he died. Anyone else have any ideas why he might have died

There is a lot that is missing from your post. Are you sure he was eating regularly? That is still within the timeframe of a fish starving. Even if he was eating, was he eating enough or just a little? What were you feeding? Also, a 125 gallon or larger aquarium is necessary to provide plenty of swimming room. It is a very passive fish that will have trouble with other aggressive tangs. What other inhabitants are in the tank?

2 clowns and cleaner wrasse there was is algae and fed him shrimp brine every night

What test did you do? Give as much information/description as possible and someone might be able to narrow it down as to why it died.

I use the API strips and API Reef tank kit to test and salinity test

Stress will do it, do you have another Tang in the tank
