yes I enabled the net controller after the reset and by my pc looking for it you mean using net detector right?
See pic belowView attachment 1684
It's seeing it.

Now use that ip address in internet explorer and you should be able to access it through your pc.

You can do basic programming and program your net module with email alerts through the pc too

Yup it's on the network. You could check the dhcp list in your router admin panel and it should show there with a matching MAC address.

Type that into IE an you should get to your rk page. Now making I accessible from outside your home network requires some more tweaking.

Get a host name service so you remeber an address not the routers outside ip.
Chef.noip.com etc

Install an ip updater thing on your comp

Set up a port forward in your router to the net mods ip. So 6789 port directs to 192.168.0.5

Then you can access it from any where by typing in

Chef.noip.com:6789 an logging in

also in my router admin panel whats fixed Dhcp clients do? gives me the option of add an ip and mac address.

Fixed DHCP enables you to pick an internal IP address for a device and keeps it then same.

If the default login doesn't work, the module was never factory reset properly I would think.

If you go into the menu under the "sys" there should be a factory default section of "reset all" (Should be below logs in menu)
