How often do yu clean yur glass?..and why?...what color is the film if its algae

All the tanks at the store get it once  week.  Usually a little brown film on the tank by the end of the week.  We usually use razor blades and sponges to clean the glass.

once a week here    the girls might clean it between if there bored  ..with a 24 inch kent scrapper  .with the felt blade  if its subborn  ill use the staninless blade ..brown film

Approxiately once a week with a mag float cleaner.  The algae is brown and comes off easily.
