I can only say that I am so proud of the group of companies that I work for. It is our small of a very big problem with used plastics getting into our sewers, making it's way to our lakes then the rivers which carry it to the oceans and to the coral reefs and other parts of the ocean. This CTV news broadcast was filmed at 4 different locations with companies that recycle as much plastic as possible. When I started with the company we were using pretty much exclusively new plastic. In the past 7 years we have reduced that to about 50% new and 50% recycled material picked up and processed from local households! I would think that this will continue until we reach our goal of 100% recycled. In a hobby like this, it can be nothing but appreciated not only for reducing the amount of plastic that enters our oceans but also reduces our carbon foot print. I truly believe that more and more recycling needs to happen so that our children and grandchild can live a healthy life.
