red turf algae

any tips on removing red turf algae. tested all my params and all are in check 0 phosphates, 0 nitrates etc. tested my ro water with 0 tds and 0 phosphates. put in an urchin but he isn't touching it

Mexican turbos and bright light will help a lot.  It won't grow where coralline is either, so promote the growth of that.

this stuff has bright light. It is growing on my overflow which is covered in coraline. Maybe not red turf?????

Here is a picture of it from about 3 weeks ago.

Tried finding mexican turbos when i was down for fragfest but no one seemed to have any

Hmmm not the red turf I know, red turf looks just like fake turf...or velvet carpet, hard to remove.  That stuff is more fibrous.  Not sure what it is.

It almost looks like the red algae I used to get in my planted tank when the bulbs needed to be changed.

All my bulbs are brand new and about 10" off water.
