i just put some ROWA powder in the back of my biocube in the media basket, and noticed the tank is clouding up, is this normal? You cant really tell from the photo.

Since our phosphate parameters were o.o5 we only put one and half tablespoons of Rowaphos in a brand new media bag and laid it on top of a piece of filter foam as recommended by Rowa phase. Almost immediately the tank water got very cloudy. Can anyone explain why?

All of the various forms of GFO will give off some iron fines. They should just settle out and will not do any harm.

did you guys rinse it out thoroughly? Many suggests to rinse them thoroughly before using it.

no-it did not recommend that in the instructions-even though I thought about doing that. But I think I will do that next time. Thanks.
