salt mixes

hey all, i just started using io reef salt mix after going a year using io sea salt mix. Corals never really did awesome, nor bad. Does anyone else here use the reef mix and what are your results. if you use a different brand, what do you use and how do u find it??

for in sarnia  yu can get either instant ocean or reef crystals  from petsmart

Just started using reef crystals, getting a small diatom bloom, just like the last time I used it, but s a lot of guys here have good luck with it, so I'm going to tough it out.

Are you dosing anything else?  How often do you do a water change, and what kind of corals are you trying to grow?

right now i am keeping leathers, shrooms and lps, i just started dosing iodide and will prob have to do calcium. calcium has dropped from 420 to 390 in 4 days. i am thinking that i might switch to kent marine reef mix or H2Ocean pro. not sure yet. guess i will ride out this 200 gallon box and go from there.
