Snowflake eel

I have a 30inch Snowflake eel in my reef aquarium. Almost 3 months ago now he stopped eating/swimming around. He pokes his head out every day to look around but thats it.His diet has always consisted of raw shrimp. No matter what I offer him now (shrimp,squid ect) he wants nothing to do with it. His sight is also getting way worse and hes darastically slimming down. (Assuming it's a he lol) I want him to eat how can I help him so he doesn't die

I think they only have a life expectancy of 6 years or so. Mine started loosing its colour and wouldn’t eat

i had mine for close to 10 years and it went a month without eating many times with no problems,, dont know if yours is having problems or not but mine was tough as hell

30 inches is prob max size so he may be old..
