Started off with 14 gallon Biocube. Got some live rock and sand, oops, very fine sand!

14 was too small so found a 32 Biocube LED, very happy with it except I put the rock and sand from the 14in it. Added about 30lbs of rock and it looks nice, just every time anything gets touched instant sand storm.

So now I’m going to have to remove everything from the 32, re hard scape and add some larger sized sand. D’oh!

Oh well. Got a Coral Box RN1 Wavemaker on the way.

So I’m thinking I’ll just put the sand and some live rock in the 14 and leave it be. It’s all cycled.

Just a couple Clowns in the 32, cleaner crew in this weekend. The rock I put in is that fake purple stuff, arches and branches, very nice

The sand will get heavier over time and the particles won’t fly around.
Not really heavier but will be covered in bacteria etc and will not fly around the same.

Steady flow better then blasting high flow too. Steady random flow even better.

Stay with it.

I have one spot that always gets the sand blown off it... so I attach a piece of seaweed to a rock with a elastic band for the tangs and put it in the bare spot to cover it up
