I know this has been discussed before, but those involved a change in tank size. I'm switching from a 30g cube over to a standard 30g. One reason is because of a change to room layout, the other being a gha issue. Basically i want to move everything over, minus the water and liverock. I am going to substitute with liverock from my 115 which is in early stage of cycling (ammonia down to .5). Will the current gravel maintain the cycle? Keep in mind I'd strongly prefer to not have the two tanks running simultaneously. Damn wife is all I'm going to say[emoji849] Can I just move gravel, add rock from 115, new water, and livestock?

nope, the only issue that I have was gha... but, I was going from untreated (tap) water to ro water...I had to do it that way because I had ALL of my fish crammed into a 30g tank...
I also reused my substrate...
