Time To Drill A Question ...

I'm looking at drilling a hole for 1.5 inch bulkhead. It requires a 2.5 inch hole. That works out to be 63.5 mm. I have a 60 mm bit here but not a 63.5mm. Do you think that it would work ? ( I do not own a dremel) I can if needed buy another bit but that would take some more time.

measure the diameter of the threads on your bulkhead and measure the outer diameter of your bit...

most bulkheads have a range +- 1/16" but 3.5mm is 1/8" difference it may not work. what bulkhead did you get?

or drill a practice hole in wood/cardboard etc and test fit.

I am still waiting on my 1.5inch bulkhead. When it gets here I will measure with a vern and then proceed.

no,a 60mm hole will NOT fit a bulkhead that needs a 65.3 mm hole sigh.....
