So it is time for me to start this thread. I am hopefully picking up 4 seahorses at the Brantford Coral show from our very own @yveterinarian. The tank is a 60 gallon cube with Trigger Systems Ruby CUBE Sump - 20 inch. I am using a Coral Box Moon LED light. I have a Jebao DCS-7000 return pump with a SWC - 120 cone skimmer and a DIY sump fan chiller and it is ready to go. The tank was rimless, however the cats are too inquisitive.

Yes, the 2 crazy color plants are fake plants. I needed something large enough for the seahorses to hitch to. I am hopefully going to be able to fill the tank with macro algaes over time, but they will take time to acquire and grow. I currently have some Shaving Brush, Mermaids Fan, Halimeda, Chaeto and Red Bush so far.

They will love the colors in the tank. Mine like my pink plants the best. Once the macroalgae grows in they will absolutely love it. Tank looks great!

Not yet. I have an EB8 and pH probe for it. But I still need a temp probe and PM1 as well as a USB to connect it to the rest of the system. It will be done eventually.
Hey torx that's looking great... can't wait to see this tank development. One question for you. Where did you get the red bush macroalgae. I'm looking for 2 plants of the red macroalgae

I picked up a bag at Sealife Central a month or so back. It was doing okay in my main tank sump, but it is doing awesome and growing like crazy in my seahorse tank. If you are ever in the area you should stop in.

That's awesome I'll have to stop in for sure bro. Out of all the red macroalgae that's the nicest of the bunch. I'd love to see your stuff in person. I'll definitely have to set something up :)

That's a creative looking hood you got going there. love it!
Thank you. I wanted to maximize the working space to get in there when needed. Figured it was worth a shot and it worked as planned. I have a vent to cut still, and add a fan to the vent. Tank is keeping a steady 70/71° but the LED does get warm in the hood despite the light venting out of the hood.
