Well, after about 8 months I realised I had input my email address wrong... so now I'm finally here.

I'm Noah, from Toronto. My tank is about a year old this month. I'll try to add some pics tonight, but for now;

Marineland 120g (4x2x2) tank
Gyre 150
Maxspect R420 320w LED
CAD Lights TIA 1220 skimmer
2lbs of Siporax
18w turbo twist UV
Dual GFO/Carbon reactor
Waveline DC4000 return pump

I'll post the list of fish/inverts/corals later.

Siporax? Where did you find this stuff in Toronto? What benefits have you found using it?

Oh and welcome

Thanks For the welcome.

I can't say whether I really notice a difference with the Siporax. I've always had high nitrates, but i think I just have it more for peace of mind. I really should have more, I think it's 1lb for 50g. I've only had it in for about 2 months which should be long enough but i have yet to rinse it, so at the moment might not be doing much to help.

4Hummer, is that in reference to the regal tang? S/He's not a permanent resident, I got it when it was the size of a thumbnail and just recently has reached 2.5-3". Actually looking at rehoming it, just waiting for a friend to lend me a trap. 120g is adequate for all the other fish in my tank.

5 Blue Chromis
Purple Firefish
Rainfords/Court Jester Goby
Regal Tang
Yellow Tang
GoldRim Tang
FoxFace Rabbitfish
2 Mandarins
Red Fairy Anthias
Two-Spot HogFish
Yellow watchman goby
Longnose hawkfish
2 Ocellaris Clowns that host with my overflow box and ignore my nems
I think I still have 2 gold head sleeper gobies... haven't seen either of them since i added them 2 months ago.

I'll try to put up a proper thread of my main DT tank soon
