Wife got frustrated at all the room that I was taking up in our laundry/storage room. (for those who have not been to my place, we have a very small house and extremely limited storage room). I agreed and she challenged me to combine everything. Challenge accepted...budget? Well it was my bad for getting a 2 week suspension, so the budget was 0$, but talked her into 20$ as I did not have casters and needed some longer screws. Did my first water change with it today and it works great. A few more things I need to add, primarily a float valve for filling the one side to use as fresh salt water.

Basically I fill the one side of the split 20 gallon with fresh RO/DI and mix with salt, conveniently there is enough room on the cart to store the salt bucket, then wheel the cart to the tank. I siphon 'dirty' water from the tank into the empty half, then siphon the new water into the sump. Then wheel it into the bathroom and siphon water into the tub. It really is effortless, however, I do need to affix a lid of some sort to avoid spills while rolling. The RO/DI unit is a 5 stage BRS unit.
