I’m a huge fan of good cured and dried meats. Pepperonis, salamis, saucisson. What’s your go to place for the best? I’m a fan of Starskys, Superior meats, and Victoria meats before it closed here in Ontario. Looking to find other places. Best I have had was when I was in Spain, downtown Barcelona this little shop on the street. They would cut prosciutto right from the leg in front of you. Im sure not as appealing to some but it was incredible. Everything in the shop was. There was another street market down by the beach that was also incredible for this kind of stuff.

Going to be the end of an era for small shop smoked meats with the way the enforcement is going.
It's all ready started:(, most of the smaller butcher shops in our area are now sending it to one larger company to be done. The cost of a used stainless steel smoker is in the price range of 80k+

That explains the giant pieces of meat at Loblaws I saw earlier yesterday noon. Looked like quarter of a cow

There used to be a butcher place in Essex Ontario our family used to go to when I was growing up. I'm not so sure they're there anymore :(

There are a few places just north of London. Follow Medeterian road about 25 minutes north east until you see a sign that says meat market. It's a small side business at someone's house. She sells for all the local farmers
